About JCI Pokhara
The year was 2031 B.S. The then youths of Bhairabtole, Pokhara initiated to do social welfare for the benefit of the society. At that time, the local administration was also not paying interest in such issues. The youths were of the same age, one day they were discussing about social service, they came to know about JCI creed from a person associated with JCI Kathmandu. The youth were inspired by the creed which said, “That faith in god gives meaning and purpose to human life and that service to humanity is the best work of life.”

I am very much thankful for you all for electing me as the president of JCI Pokhara for the year 2024. I will take this opportunity as a valued recognition for which I along with my team will drive JCI Pokhara to set a new landmark.
“Youth Leadership For Sustainable Development “ is the Presidential theme for this year. Youth has energy, will power, positivity, confidence, adaptability to changing situation, determination and perseverance, which reflect a strong commitment towards transforming plans into action, thus, translating the youth vision into reality. With the effect of teamwork and unity, youth leaders can contribute towards positive change and development of self as well as community, nation and the whole world.
I strongly believe that with optimistic thought, we all will play energetic role in shaping the JCI movement in this naturally and culturally beautiful City, Pokhara. I also would like to take this opportunity to extend my gratitude to each one who directly or indirectly contributed for lifting JCI Pokhara to this level and also would like to call for further more productive collaboration towards successful execution of all activities of JCI Pokhara for individual, organizational and the community development.
Lastly, I would like to thank Past Presidents, Board of Directors & General members along with all the well wishers for their cordial support and guidance till now and hope for the same in the days to come.
